The key to a great peach is picking it right off the tree, taking a bite, and the juices run off your chin. Messy, but so sweet. I'm guessing you have some juices of your own that would run off my chin.

Clearly you are well versed in peaches! Kind of partial to Red Haven: early, good size fruit, juicy and extremely flavorful. I've got a couple trees from a new variety of which the name escapes me now. Very big fruit, but nice and firm, however having problems with blight, more so than my other trees. I have to say I'd love to have taste testing all over your body!

My favorite peach is located about 7"-8" below my belly button and is about 4" long and 3" wide. I prune a lot to leave a lot of space for air circulation and "tools". I like lots of wood in my saddle. When I was much younger, it was very easy for people to harvest me. I gave more free peaches than was in my own best interest, but remember what they say about peach trees. The best fruit spacing is 6". I prefer a bit more.

Oh you are good!! How long did it take you to compose that??? Not only are you a multi tasker when it cums to playtime, but your written word is very penetrating too!! When I was younger I too, was a bit adventurous, it was much harder to find someone who wanted wood, than it was to offer it.

It took me about 2 minutes to compose that. When I'm on a roll, I'm on a roll. When I was younger, I couldn't seem to pronounce the word "no", or "later", or "bugger off." I was the "easy blonde" in high school and the girl-gone-wild in college. So you should have offered me a peach back then :-)

Do you by chance like juicy apples, plums and/or cherries?? I know your (like mine) cherry is long gone, but that doesn't really matter does it???
